Based in Stevenson’s home city of Edinburgh, The Robert Louis Stevenson Club is dedicated to fostering interest in Stevenson and his work world-wide.

The Robert Louis Stevenson Club is for everyone. Among our members we have academics of international standing, but also those who have recently discovered RLS for the first time and simply want to know more about him. Some of our members are related through cousinship to Stevenson and through them and our founding fathers – who knew RLS personally – we believe we have a perceptive insight into Stevenson the man. Our membership straddles the world.

As you will see from our busy events programme, we are an active Club and go to corners of the world and discuss aspects of Stevenson’s life and work not normally undertaken. Above all, we are a friendly, relaxed Club with enjoyment one of the key elements.

If you feel what we offer is for you, then download the application form, complete it and send it to us. You can find full details on how we will store and use your personal information by downloading our Data Protection Policy – please read through this carefully before applying for membership.

The Robert Louis Stevenson Club is part of the European Network In the Footsteps of Robert Louis Stevenson, certified as a European Cultural Route.
